Nynke Algra
Nynke Algra (1979) started to play the recorder at the age of 9. She received a Young Talent’s Prize from the “Kristalhelder” Foundation in Den Helder when she was 17. She competed at the SONBU recorder competition in Utrecht, reaching the semi-finals twice and receiving an honorable mention award.
After many years of lessons with Bert Honig, Nynke performed in several solo concerts throughout the Netherlands and participated in a number of international music courses and masterclasses such as the Orpheon Summer Course in Czech Republic and courses with Flanders Recorder Quartet in Belgium. Currently she is taking individual as well as group lessons with a.o. Bert Honig, Marjolijn van Roon, Marjan Banis, Erik Bosgraaf and Daniël Brüggen.
