Kim Stockx

Kim Stockx (1987) started her recorder studies in 2005 at the Royal Conservatory in The Hague. There she studied with Dorothea Winter and Daniël Brüggen, finally receiving her diploma in 2009.

During these four years of studies she received masterclasses with some of the best professionals like, Reine-Marie Verhagen, Peter van Heyghen, Sebastian Marq, Christina Pluhar, Wilbert Hazelzet, Frank de Bruine, Charles Toet and Patrick Ayrton.

Kim entered different competitions with good results. In 2004 she won the “Laureaten concours” in Veldhoven and in 2005 the “24 Caraats” competition.

In September 2008, Kim got accepted for her second bachelor studies, baroque bassoon and dulcian at the Royal Conservatory in The Hague. Her teachers are Donna Agrell and Wouter Verschuren. Her musical collaborations include conductors like Patrick Ayrton, Peter van Heyghen, Charles Toet, Jos Vermunt, Christina Pluhar, Andrew Parrot and Nicolette Moonen. She performed inside and outside the Netherlands (Japan, Spain, France…) with groups like the Residentie Bachorkest, Sinfoniëtta Geleen, La Ritirata and La Dichosa Fantasia.
